THE AI FISH TANK

The fish tank will keep expanding as more food (in the form of billions, not mere millions, of Dollars) is poured into the tank. The pool started with big fish, then attracted smaller fish, all of which continue to grow in size as they consume endless Dollars. Appetites not satisfied, they start borrowing billions from sharks that enter the tank.

The fish tank will become overcrowded. Some spawned chatbots will hallucinate and fish will die. The smaller ones will be crushed or eaten by the larger ones. Competition in the tank will reduce the larger ones which will get fatter. The overextended ones will be devoured by the sharks. The bubble will eventually burst and only a few of the largest will survive.

Does this sound like something that has happened before? Maybe only a few years ago!
